Sport psychology is the development of mental and emotional skills, techniques, attitudes, perspectives, and processes that lead to performance enhancement and positive personal development.
It can help the athlete to regulate the stress of competition, improve commitment, improve recovery, learn specific performance enhancement techniques, and can help make a positive transition from sport.
Biomechanics
Biomechanics is also known as the 'Physics of Sports'. The laws of mechanics are applied to human movement with a specific emphasis on enhancing sport performance through mathematical modeling, computer simulation, and measurement.
Effective movement results from proper execution of sport specific movements, allowing athletes to reach their highest potential.
