Phase I of the Sport for Life Centre is now open and houses 60+ provincial sport organizations, the Sport Medicine Centre, Sport Performance Centre, a Sport Resource Centre, as well as education and training space.
This state-of-the-art centre will allow you and your athletes to learn, train and excel in new and exciting ways. Through the Centre, you can take advantage of the best in active skill-building, research, sport medicine, and education resources.
New Options for Year-Round Training
Plans are underway to build an 80,000 square-foot multi-use fieldhouse ideally suited for year-round dry-land training. Featuring an indoor running track, 80 metre sprint lanes, court space, multi-use space as well as strength and cardio centres, the fieldhouse will help athletes achieve greater strength, agility and speed.
This new facility will also provide innovative coaching opportunities as you apply learning concepts from the classroom to hands-on practice in the fieldhouse.
